Blueberry Lemon Lime Margarita with Pink Himalayan salt

_DSC1223 (2)

What could be better on a hot summer evening than sipping a cool drink?  Sipping a great flavor blended Margarita with lime of course and as a twist I’ve add blueberry lemonade for a quick mix drink!  I love a good Margarita but a great one well who could resist.  These are a quick fix with ready made blueberry lemonade just add lime juice, tequila, ice cubes and shake to blend. For another twist I’ve added pink Himalayan salt the mild flavor of this salt blends wonderfully with the blueberry.  Salt the rim of your favorite glass add a slice of lime and you’re in business.

Leave off the salt for those who aren’t keen for it.

I love using those frozen juice cubes but fresh limes will do the trick.

Using PATÓN  Silver is a great choice it’s blended to for use with lime.

For the Drink

  • 1 cup blueberry lemonade
  • 2 frozen lime cubes or juice of 3 limes
  • handful of fresh blueberries
  • 2 shot of tequila 2 ounces
  • 6 ice cubes
  • pink Himalayan salt for the rim

Prepare an old fashioned glass by moistening the rim & rolling it in pink Himalayan salt. Shake everything vigorously with ice in a cocktail shaker (you can us a mason jar for this part). Pour into the prepared garnish glass with more blueberries a wedge of lime and serve.

Life begins at the end of your comfort zone…

Always drink responsably
