Peppered Pork Roast on a Pretzel Hoagie Roll

Well try to say that fast 3 times and you’ll be hungry for one of these great sandwiches. Roast pork makes a great sandwich meat and pairs well with coarse grain mustard and horse radish sauce.  I like to roast the pork loin slowly this leaves it tender and moist for great sandwiches.

What you’ll need:

Preheat your oven to 325 Degrees

roasting pan or glass baking dish

1  2 pound pork tenderloin

6  tablespoons fresh course ground pepper corns (I like the rainbow blend it has black, white, red and green and gives a good blend of pepper taste)

2  tablespoons sea salt

Method:

remove tenderloin from plastic wrap or butchers paper place on a plate and dry it off with paper towels.  mix your salt and pepper together and rub all off all sides of your pork loin.  Place in a roasting pan or glass baking dish. place in preheated oven and cook for 2 hours checking at 1 1/2 hours with a meat thermometer it needs to be 160 degrees when it is ready remove pan from oven and let sit for 20 minutes then slice.
